Nandalal Bose, one of the pioneers of modern Indian art and the Swadeshi Art Movement in the 19th century, was deeply influenced by the ideals of Ramakrishna and Vivekananda, and was beloved by Sister Nivedita. His artistic contributions, including the decorative work of the Sri Ramakrishna Temple at Belur Math, continue to inspire generations of artists. This exhibition hall named after him at the Bose House Campus showcases artworks by some of the contemporary leading artists committed to Indian art traditions, as well as selected works by young and upcoming artists.
